here is your head scratcher for the day

A fellow just brought in a Springfield Armory XD that was locked up with a round in the chamber. We got it loose and the 45 acp round had an extremely flat pierced primer but the bullet was still in the case. So figure that out. Normally even if it is too light a load the bullet will still be in the barrel. This load must have been extremely hot (a factory round)to pierce the primer and flatten it to almost twice it's size but yet the bullet was still in the case.
