Paco owns, he dug this one out. A Model 64 Winchester in .219 Zipper. Paco's Dad bought it new when Paco was born. He bought it for Paco to grow up with. It is in quite nice shape for being over 80 years old.

The leverguns articles section is a frequent haunt of mine. I think between you, Mr. Kelly and Mr. Taffin there has been more forgotten about leverguns, sixguns and firearms in general then what the rest of the gun industry has for combined knowledge now. I appreciate everything that Paco has contributed in his life. One thing I am interested in is his time spent in africa. I have read his article on .35 Whelen i was wondering if there was more.

Wow!

That is the "rifle" version of the 1894 and the Zipper is basically the .25-35 (30-30) necked to .224". I've never shot one but it sounds fun! Do you really have to use RN or flat tipped projectiles? I like his bolt mounted sight. Mr. Kelly looks very well for 80! God Bless him.

He said that the recoil is really light

and while you are supposed to use round nose bullets, he has never really worried about and had no issues. He said the 105 gr. round nose jacketed with a fairly large exposed nose works very well.

there is a 105 grain 22 caliber bullet?
