I've been looking at getting one of there ps6sa rigs for my blackhawk. Anyone got one or seen one in person? I saw mr. Taffin is on there website with one so hopefully he sees this and gives his take on them. I'm really wondering how well they hold the pistol in with no retention strap or thong? Looks like it holds the gun high so should be what I need keeping the gun out of the way when driving tractors and trucks and when graining cattle. Any experience or ideas on these holsters is greatly appreciated

for this type of work. Otherwise a nice flap type helps retain and keeps me from skinning my gun. Puffy did not really like that brand, I've never examined one myself. He said the leather was too thin for his liking. Just FWIW.

I like Simply Rugged one holster can

Be used OWB, IWB or with their Chest Harness with the right hardware. They are quite sturdy and you can get them simple and plain or stamped and carved like artwork.

Would you believe?? I have a full fish scale

For a 7&1/2” blackhawk. If i were to do it again, i would get a lined holster. It fits snugly, and wore the bluing. They form fit the holster to the exact pistol, i’ve never lost or dropped the pistol from the holster. The 7&1/2” barrel is a little long for driving with, but the holster has enough cant, so it will work. I’m wearing it now, sitting down. I’ve had it for about 6 years, no complaints.
