Reeder Custom Guns - Favorite Flattop Tool technique? Haven't had much

time to try out the tool. Seems like it might make it easier to clamp it in a vise? Also, seems like I remember someone saying a sharp chisel works well? Just curious what works best for you guys. Thanks!

close to it. Then a quick rub against a flat file to make it pretty. Actually nasty and ugly nose bullets shoot fine, its the base of the bullet that really makes the difference. Your goal is to be as consistent as reasonable for weight. You can also rub a little liquid alox on the surface of the bullet, don't get it on the case. It might gum up the chambering.

cutters and it works fine. You are only cutting off the rounded part of the nose so it doesn't take much.
