On a personal note...
Some of my friends have been following me giving assistance to an old friend and following the story. It began with me praying for some relief to my own troubles. My brother and I are trying to divide our common holdings after a 15 year struggle. My mother died, I was diagnosed with a cancer condition, and by brother filed suit against me all in the past year. I have to look back and laugh at the craziness as there is even more to it than that. I need to write a novel. So I'm wound tight and ask for some relief; God sends me Dave! Sure as I'm setting here I know exactly that is what happened. He's homeless and facing multiple felony counts over something stupid where no one was hurt other than their feelings. In Arkansas you cannot have a gun, open at hand, and engage with a forceful verbal exchange with people, except in the confines of inside your own home. Something to think about in your own state for reference relating to CCW carry, we got lucky.
I share a praise with my friends I now have Dave in his own apartment, comfortable and safe. He is financially stable on his own. I'm making appointments to begin getting the charges against him reduced from felonies to lesser assault which is a misdemeanor. That will work for us. I certainly had my prayers answered, no smoking way I would ever have asked for it to come about, but God's will is so much greater than our own. Plus it actually works! So thank you for the concern and share in the praise in God's providence and perfect will!
PS: I just collected a big fat, expensive, life changing looking envelope from my family attorney in the regular mail. Isn't that something?!
