Your experience with Tasco handgun scopes? Just looking for an inexpensive but ok performing scope for use on a Ruger MKIII pistol. So no heavy recoil to worry about.

I find them to be as good as many nes

Name brand ones. I have a 2X on my G2 22, works great

Take a look at the Simmons 4x handgun model fixed.

Usually way under $100 and lifetime, transferable, warranty. They are heck for strong handling many, many rounds of .416 GNR and the like. had no problems. They have a 30mm tube and the ones we used had a small dot in the center of the crosshairs. Great scopes.

Do they still make them? I have several.

The 3x is a straight tube and the 7x more traditional. Like Gary said, fine crosshairs with a dot in the center.

The 3x was $50 and the 7x was $75 with free shipping from Midway. I only bought two of each. Really wish I'd bought more. But, hindsight is always 20/20.
