Gary came out with a unique .35 a couple yrs. ago.

It is more than the old .35-30 based upon the .30-30 necked up to .358". This was popular for guys with .32 Winchester Special M1894's that had shot out bores. a re-bore to .35 got them a .35/.30-30. Gary's advancement on the idea surpasses even an Ackley version. He straightened the sides and maxed out the capacity, a sharp crisp neck helps keeping the brass from stretching.

You just run a .30-30 through a FL sizer, shoot a 80% power form load and you have custom brass. It should easily outperform the .35 Remington and work superior with a strong neck to headspace from.

If you NEED a straight walled cartridge to comply with unique handgun hunting rules he also has the .400 GNR that is a .30-30 blown out straight to 10mm or .401 cal. Sort of a shorter, smaller version of the .405 Win. which is .411 cal.

Both of those cartridges are on my radar.
