It would take a good size hydraulic press and I am not sure then if you could get them out without bulging the barrel. A person could drill through the center, try melting the lead out and then working the jackets out.

Someone tried driving back the bullet near the muzzle and all it did was swell it into the bore.

Easiest solution is a new barrel. I will order a new barrel and go with that. Then I will have the side milled off the original one just to see how many bullets are in it. They must have been very light loads as the barrel is not bulged at any location.

I have never stuck that many bullets in a barrel. Are they plate bullets with jacket 100% around? If not I would still try a muzzle loading ball extractor. If that does not work, Lock it down real tight in a vice, use a solid steel rod and a shop hammer to drive it out. Be carful, a lick off center can hurt the rifling.

I have drilled a small hole 3/16 or 1/4 an stand the barrel in a lead pot for a while . . . seen this more than once, jackets usually come out pretty easy after the lead runs out.

but it could be done. I think this barrel will make a good "Show & Tell" when we mill the side off.

Coming in from the muzzle end? It's in the British WW2 museum now I believe.

change the barrel. You could put that barrel in a ultrasonic cleaner with Kroil or Ballistol for about 20 minutes. See if you could pull the first two or three and drive the rest with a large brass punch. If not drill through all of them stepping up your bit until just a thin sliver is left.

They run a screw into it and pull it, normally. Lead is a lot easier to slide over steel than copper is. Look at the copper fouling in the breech end of the barrel.

and seek a professional. You could go to a guy with a lathe and have him drill out the center of the bullets to weaken their grip on the bore. That is what I did with that "single" 6.5 bullet. The lathe will keep things straight and centered so the bore will not be damaged.

Given the inexpensive nature of the gun I bet a new barrel could be found used for a very low expense, maybe less than $50. Might even find a .44 or .45 barrel and then rechamber to that caliber.

By the time you paid a pro to assist in that project you could get a new barrel. I agree you already are headed in teh right direction. Wonder what those threads are?!

I kinda doubt it ... if there was only 1 bullet maybe ..

remove the barrel and press them out or driil them out

I have the barrel off the gun ..
