in Nashville back in the early to mid 60s. The radio station I worked for back then, WMAK was just across from the entrance to Printers Alley. I was known to spend an hour or two there from time to time. But I had never heard of Hendrix at that time.

the item said he started playing an acoustic and then changed to electric, I personally never listened to him in his early days as there were a bunch of great musicians playing in the early 60s. many of the 50s rock and rollers were still with us, as well as the British groups coming on.
There was a picture of Mick Jagger, and Bob Marley in the same article. I never had a fro then but I seem to have a white one now hahaha. The good old days
