flopped. If I remember right it was originally a Cor Bon cartridge. I ordered an Auto Mag 5 chambered in the 440 Cor Bon but it was never released. I even bought the dies and loaded some ammo waiting for the Auto Mag 5 to get here. So as far as I know this is the same cartridge just under a different name. And I have had a dozen people ask me if it is the same as our 429 GNR, but it is a totally different cartridge.

The .440 Corbon is a proprietary cartridge of Corbon/Peter Pi.
The only way Magnum Research could get around any agreements with Peter was to come out with a "new" cartridge; hence the .429DE
