Two old half-blind, half-deaf guys shooting quick.

As I mentioned yesterday we went out and tried some late model guns we had no experience with. My buddy Ric liked the M&P Shield better. I think he can find it easier around his ample belly. Nothing worse I figure as to lose your "belly gun" under your belly! LOL

We were trying to shoot fairly quick, like maybe a second per shot; bang-bang-bang, as fast as we could regain the sighting. We figured that would tell us which one had more shootability. Factoring in sights, grip, trigger, recoil etc. It was fun and surprised me. Both of us use a 6 O'Clock hold and the guns shoot POA right under the sight.

As Blake said a Glock trigger is always a Glock trigger, if you are familiar it just comes back to you. I did notably better but it was the last gun I shot too. I was sort of warmed up. We both shot a little wild at first getting the feel of the little guns.

Ric started with the center target and you can see his vertical was him trying to get a consistent grip on the thing. He later got some acceptable consistency with the M&P. He hated the SIG from the start, blasphemy to some. The Glock 43 felt too small to him and they didn't have the G48 in rental. The G48 is sort of a thinned down G19 in 10 shot. Really thinned down. I bet he would have liked that.

He finished out with the upper left and lower right targets. I was pretty wild myself on the upper right with both the M&P and SIG, but I settled down as they ran dry. My lower left target was the last of the ammo with the G43, good enough trying to shoot rapidly.
