another S&W just finished. This is an early K-22

before the Model 17. It was in pretty rough shape when it got here..

We did a little touch up here and there on it.It has a light coating of oil on it so any smears you see are from that.Amazingly the sideplate screws wouldn't blue. S&W was dabbling in some alloys back then and the screws must be some of that. Of the 4 side screws, 2 took the blue and the 2 bottom ones didn't. I will replace them with new screws.
