She has never had an interest and is now 21 years old. Told me she wanted to go with me the next time I went. So, off we went today to the local rifle range. She shot my Single-Six, a couple different 10/22's and my AR! I shot my Ruger American Ranch rifle .223 and she didn't want to try that. Broke out the G2 30GNR that I finally got to shoot for the first time and again she said no but I had a blast! What a shooter it was! I will get her out again when we can spend more time and ease her into it a little at a time. HAD A GREAT DAY!!!

Pic? I hope!

Did it group correct resting the barrel on the pad? Pretty country.

No grouping, just putting rounds out.

We worked on that later when I got the right sandbag combo for her.
Used to do a lot of 10/22 work and that is one I refinished. All lead free here now so have gotten away from the 10/22 scene. Can still shoot the lead stuff at the range though!

Puffy sent me some "Tin" .22 LR Winchester ammo

I'd never even heard of it before. The 40 gr. size bullet weighed 35 gr. or so and went 1650 fps! It sort of nastied up the barrel a little but shot well. I wanted to try some more and smear a little LEE alox on the bullet to see if that made it shoot cleaner. I bet it would.

Some type of other ally bullet like that, maybe stintered copper etc. would restore rimfire shooting in lead free places.
