Reeder Custom Guns - Question for Glock experts. I have been

looking for a trigger that will not pinch my finger and cause me to not seat the ball of my trigger finger at the same spot when I am shooting. The stock trigger works fine but causes the finger pinch. I have looked at ZEV, APEX CNC and a few other triggers that are drop in replacements for a G19 Gen4. Does anyone have a recommendation. Should I go for a flat faced trigger or a curved trigger (which is what the stock trigger is so not sure if I really want that)?

I had a gun with a ZEV adjustable trigger. It was a G20, I liked it. Glock triggers, besides comfort, need to have "feel". I need it to have a take up and stop that I can tell. If it is too light and no distinct stack or stop it's mushy and I lack ability to control. This "reset" is something I either do not understand or take for granted. But most custom triggers are adjustable in that manner.

There is so much BS on the net you DO need to find someone you can trust to give you the real skinny. I tried a light trigger spring kit and it gave me that mush. A 4.5-5.5 lb trigger is fine if it has that feel. The ZEV had a nice stack, about 3 lbs, and short reset. It was all alloy too. I generally dislike plastic triggers. My Beretta 92A1 has a plastic trigger, tempted to get a Wilson short steel one. My current combat Glock has a hand stoned trigger bar with just a little movement past sear break, on the stock trigger. I like it and it was only $20. But it is no ZEV.

5 or 6 Glocks but I have never had any trouble or biting from the trigger. To me it is fine. I sorta believe in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". If Larry is used to the 1911 trigger, the Glock will never feel the same no matter how much you spend changing parts. Unless you plan on getting into competition with it or running 500 rounds thru it every weekend, my suggestion is live with it.

you might just develop a callous after a while? A revolver I got back in January was seriously bruising my palm with the corner of the grip. Now after 2 months and 750 or 1000 rounds I think it's the most comfortable thing in the world and wouldn't change it. If a gun is working well for you, sometimes those little ergonomic issues work themselves out with time and more rounds downrange
