Any easy loads using these so I can get some .455 loads done tonight and play for a bit tomorrow?

I have played a bit with the 455 GNR and think that the R-15 will be too slow. I have not shot the 110/296 enough to be any help with, but I have shot 1,000's of rounds with HS-6, 2400, WC-820, 4227, and 4198 with cast bullets from 260 -310 grs.

The 455 is my favorite so if I can be of any help please give-a-shout.

I will Mark, thanks!

Just looking for a plunger, play with round to begin with and am thinking for full house elk load. My goal is big bull in Colorado this year with my new “Howdah” revolver!

Plinker! Not plunger.

I have a 455 GNR Encore barrel. I have shot it very little. All with H-110. Gary recommends H-110, 296, AA#9, and AA1680. RL-15 would be TOO slow.

I second 4198 in the 455. Good results with 250s - 300s

Mine liked the 300 grain bullet, nothing heavier. It liked 28 grains of H-110/296 but start down a grain or two and work up slowly.
