Puffy had an old beater .380 I missed a deal on. Bought his .32 kept it for years. Repo!grips, retro mag, cold blue on slide. But it shot great and let me experience the platform. I’d carry a gone through one without hesitation. The companies are just now realizing how good a slim, single stack mag., compact auto really is. Until a few years ago it was like carrying half a brick in your pocket!
*the two tone mags of original Colt mfg bring really big $$$. On an old beater you can sell the original mag and buy a stack of good reproductions. Maybe have some folding money left over.
I have one of Gary’s. It actually carries nice

Got one, handed down to me and was in Europe during WWII. I have never fired it, just a family heirloom.....
