But it is the threaded bushing that fits the dovetail on older contender barrels for the forearm screws

My understanding is that the Top Hat Bushing is the metal sleeve that the forend screw passes through on the older T/C forends. I could be wrong....

On TC's parts list there is no bushing of any type mentioned that I have found. So he may be SOL.

I don't even know what a top hat bushing is

I may be calling it by the wrong name

TC calls it a dovetail lock. I am very low on them
