bore was fouled with soot and brass particles. Went through 100 rounds of Winchester white box ammo last night with no issues. I'll start inspecting / cleaning that area more often. Crud I'm guessing from my dirtier handloads. Brass??? I'm guessing it's from using brass that had former crimped primers? Occasionally a piece of the old primer (or crimp?? not sure how the factory crimped primer works) is left around the outside of the primer pocket. I'm thinking this comes loose on firing and pieces end up in the firing pin bore? Only thing I can think of?
