The other day we were talking about screws coming loose

on the single action sixguns. I took the EAA Bounty Hunter to the range today and ran 75 or 80 rounds through it .. checking to see it is all functioning properly. After those few rounds EVERY screw except the cylinder bolt screw was loose! Even the new cylinder pin latch. A little cleaning and an application of super glue ....

Work out on. I usually take them out, flatten one end slightly and put it back in.

I had a barrel start to screw out once..

a guy was trying to build his own 454's and sent me one to test. I was shooting CorBon heavy hardcast loads and snapped the ejector rod housing screw as the barrel started to loosen.

for me in the 455 GNR and even the vibration in the light recoiling Coyote Classic in 218 M.B. After trying all kinds of loc-tite I finally went to a small dab of 2 part epoxy. It now takes a bit of heat to loosen them but I have no more screws backing out.
