and if you plan to shoot it, hold out for a blued 6" model. We got one in recently, 4" nickel that the nickel is chipping badly all over. We sent it to Robar in Phoenix to take the nickel off so we can do a high polish blue on it for the customer. The nickel chipping is part of having a nickel gun that is used quite a bit.

don't go out on Sunday and plink. In my warped mind if it isn't good for hunting, I don't see having it. So a 6" Python is the only one I would normally have. The 4" models were, to me, meant for cops.

I had a Custom shop 8" Royal Blue Python, the most accurate hand gun I have ever owned. Like an idiot I sold it wish I had it back.
