Reeder Custom Guns - Test Fired the Armi San Marco .357 today

I used the 160 gr. cast flatpoint with 8.0 gr. of Unique .. with 14.5 gr. 2400 and with 15.0 gr. WC820 (military surplus H110)

The 3rd shot with the first load (8gr.Unique) the ejector rod housing went past my right ear. I had a home made screw holding it on and apparently it did not want the job.

Shooting shaky offhand standing up all loads shot pretty well center but all were 4" to 6" low. No problem. I will get set up on a bench and sight it in.

slow them down a little. They will jump right up POA. But I'm certain you have a plan. How did the CSA shoot go, have you heard? I wanted to go but I had to make a tough choice.

So low, that means lower the front sight to raise POI relating to the sights? I get it confused, thinking backwards.

and have not heard anything.

When I figure out the load I want to regulate the gun to, then I will have to file down the front sight some to bring the POI up to where I want it at whatever distance I figure I will want .. probably 20 or 25 yards.

Heavier bullets would help but these days I would just as soon stick with standard weight or even a bit lighter. That's me.

hidden in those retorts. I reckon there is lots to learn from those who have gone before me. I just have to chew on them a little to glean all the wisdom. lol
