Huey, I have a similar barrel except for a S&W 41.. Awhile ago I ordered a S&W 4" barrel and cylinder for a 41 and the barrel is clearly made for a 58 without ejector shroud but has a red ramp front. The 58 had a standard M&P front and this is not an add-on as the ramp and rib are one piece with pinned front... No one at a SWCA meeting could shed any light..PS- I call it my model 58 1/2 [image]
