A few weeks back. He'd been wanting a Reeder 25 and decided this would abbreviate the waiting period. Besides that, it was exactly what he'd told me he wanted.

He asked Gary to add 25-20 and 256 Win Mag Cylinders, which he quickly did.

He got the gun this evening and managed to shoot the gun before dark with the 25-20 Cylinder. The group was sub 1" with one called flyer at 45 yards. Another accurate Reeder 25 in a Misfit's hand.

The gun shoots better than I was shooting it. From a good rest, taking time to make shots count I believe it could do one ragged hole. Will enjoy shooting critters with it.

Advertised in "Small Caliber News," a magazine published by Todd Kindler. Having always loved the cartridge, I called him. He declined to build anymore due to a cranky customer who was having problems with setback.

I never quit hounding him to build me one. I cannot make one setback. Long awaited, but worth it.

I saw the same add and was tempted to do a 17AH. Got involved in subcalibers instead. Could have bought multiple Coyote Classic revolvers for what I spent on the tiny subcalibers. Lesson learned, love Reeders revolvers. Love the 25's thanks to Huey and Reeder

In small bore revolvers. Even mild loads hit harder than the 22s and much cheaper to shoot. I've pushed the 55 grn GT Hollow Point to 1600 fps from my 250 GNR Trail Gun and it mushrooms like a big game bullet.

For the 25-20s I usually opt for the various 85 grn cast at 1250-1400 fps.

A pound of powder goes a long way. I love the big bores too. But, a man who doesn't explore smallbores is missing a lot of fun. Lots more small game opportunities out there for cheap hunts.

Gary now has five 25 Caliber options for standard length cylinder revolvers. No one else even comes close to this.
