It rained most of the day but cleared up around mid afternoon. Colleen is still chasing Cape Buffalo. Last year they were extremely wild and this year looks no different. So no shot at a big one yet. Her hunting partner, Wendy Palmer, took a real nice long horned Springbok. Here with John and his Jack Russell Mosi.

Jon Mathews took another critter, a heavy boss Black Wildebeest.

Jon's Black Wildebeest and Wendy's Springbok are both exceptional and will score very well.

The rain over the last couple of days left a lot of puddles and rhino are like hogs. They love to wallow in it.

I imagine there were several more animals taken but I haven't received any other pictures.

Jon Mathews animals were taken with the 8mm GNR.

It's overlooked today especially for big game today in lieu of the heavier Encore.

Clearly with that grammar I should post while working...

And one in 7mm 08 but like my G2 Carbine in 445 SM most of all.

Now, where would you acquire such a collection??

on a safari several years ago I saw 4 JRs take on a 200 lb Leopard and kill it. They all got scratched up a bit but they killed the leopard.

That is unbelievable, they are ferocious.

hunt and sat out on the deck in the sun just taking it easy. The whole day all 3 of the JRs in camp were right there by my feet or sitting on the chair with me.
