Lumber finally came in today

I picked up a sweet G2 frame from Gary on a Saturday sale. Africa game scene. My buddy Dan got the American game scene G2 that same Saturday witch I thought was cool. I digress. Anyway Gary built me a 18.5” 366GNR barrel to go with it and came up with a trick scope base for the 3x15 Burris 30mm tube. Weight in at 7.5 lbs of witch 2lbs are scope!
Anyway I am taking next week off to work on my hot rod Ford, work in the yard and spend a couple days at the outdoor range during the middle of the week for a change.

May I ask who made the stock and forearm. It really looks great.I have looked for a sililar stock and forearm for my original Contender, but haven’t had any luck finding one. It seems everyone has moved on to the G2 and Encore.

Thanks to all for the Contender stock information. I've book marked the sites and plan to contact High Plains. I'm planning to buy a small caliber carbine barrel and carbine stock/forearm for my Original Contender. I have a Weaver 10X Model T Scope ready to put on in time for Groundhog season here in W. PA.

I use them for G2 , Encore both rifle and pistol stocks. The laminate is reasonably priced for the quality you get.
