and I prefer it because when and if I need it it is right there, no snapping buttons, pushing levers or doing anything that might stop me from getting the gun out and into my hand ready for whatever. Yes, it is exposed, but in bad weather it is covered by a coat or sweatshirt. In the summer any holster you buy that is not exposed is going to slow you down getting the gun into play. It may not be the best holster made but thru well over 30 years of carrying a gun it has never failed me and is always there when I need it, and if I need it I need it right now, not in 15 seconds after I pull my shirt out of the way or unzip my pants or any other contortions necessary to get that gun in my hand. Just my humble opinion but it is the only holster I would bet my life on.
