So I decided to assemble the TC Contender in 38-40 WCF. To speed up the project, I simply put the 12" Octagon 38-40 Barrel on my 25-20 in the same configuration. Installed a Leupold base and rings, followed by a Simmons 2x scope...

Then on to load some ammo. Using Starline Brass, 2400 Powder and GT Hollow Point 200 grn bullets. The Lee Dies worked perfectly and the Collet Crimp gripped the none cannelured bullets in place...

These bullets have a huge hollow point and have worked great from 950-1600 fps. May push them a bit faster and see how they perform. But, that will require a rifle barrel. I won't push the pistols hard enough to surpass that velocity.
