it came to me that I have read it before. I loved reading it again. I like my big bores of average wieght for the cartridge or a little less driven faster. I only hunt deer and hogs and have had great success with your 200 grain .41 mag load only running a little faster.

Colt were on my Grandpa's ranch in Eastern Washington State".
I kind of get a little chuckle each time I read this. Knowing where this ranch is and from the description Jim gives I know about where the ole 41 Ford sat, and if you are ever there look up from the old homestead and you will still see the windmill, complete with bullet holes through the fantail. Being a young lad at the time I am sure that our author may have put a few in there himself.
I have to admit that I did.
