I had the foresight to get GNR to go ahead and drill and tap the topstrap even though at the time I had no plans to scope it. It didn't cost that much more and like JT says, I have forgotten the expense. Now I really like the versatility. That .356 GNR will make a fine Whitetail or general use rig. The added velocity adds some range before trajectory comes into play much.
