Gary built a cylinder for my .41 Magnum ..

It is a custom from Bowen that was left to me by a very dear friend after he died. John Taffin and I did his funeral and after the funeral the son came up to me and said, "Daddy wanted you to have this." It is a treasure.

Some years ago I was testing some ammunition that a factory had sent me. It was very hot and I had fired 5 rounds. When I went to eject the empties I had to pound one shell out of the chamber. It had bulged the bolt notch!

I sent the gun to Gary and he built a new cylinder for it. And it still shoots better than I can hold it. My old eyes don't always see the sights clearly anymore, and the flyer is my fault .. but the gun can shoot!

I was blessed to be able to attend one of the HHC's several years ago and took this cow elk at about 90 yards with the .41 Magnum.

Gary's work in building a cylinder for my "special" gun is just an example of the fine work he and his crew do every day.
