Need an opinion or 2 re: Interarms Virginia Dragoon

Parts are a little hard to come buy but since its unused I doubt you will have any issues. LGS here had a stainless one for $599 that I almost went for. That price its a steal.

They are enlarged versions of the Colt SA with mods. Parts are iffy but at that price how can you pass it up. Who cares what it looks like. Once plumb, always plumb.

With a link to a review on the Virginia Dragoon in 357. I had one in 44M that was lost in a house fire. Mine was solid and shot very well. I'd sure buy one at $250-$350 and be happy to get it!

the plum color. I have seen $500,000 Colt SAAs made for presidents that have that. That just means the metal has a bit more nickel steel than normal. No big deal. Winchester also had plum color frames and even had stamped on the barrel "nickel steel". The Dragoons were only available for a few years. They were made here in the states. The original Dragoons were made in Europe by one of the finest target rifle and handgun manufacturers around. Then they started making them here in the states. That is a great revolver. Don't pass it up.
