In testing the shotgun patterns are all over and patterns full of large holes (too large to kill a snake effectively) and the bullets keyhole at 10 feet. Hate to pee on your parade as to performance, Like Mr. Taylor said.... But if YOU want one by golly go for it. They look cool, function, and I played with a couple too. The .38/.357 is my favorite on a smaller chassis. The smallest .22 WMR Davis was probably the best I actually shot. Even though it's a cheap pot metal rig. The #11 snake load from CCI would kill a snake up close, beat a stick for sure.
There is a niche for .410 pistols, old men snap them up, they can't help it. A good resale market if you buy into it right.
