Reeder Custom Guns - Jim Taylor, you out there.

About 2 weeks ago you posted of some NEI .41 cal. 230 gr. bullets you had cast. These bullets after casting had a BHN of 12. I was wondering if you had rechecked the hardness and where those bullets finally settled? Also what was your alloy?

the hardness is unchanged. I am not sure of the alloy. I bought 45 pounds of lead ingots from the metal recyclers. The ingots are so hard they "ring" when you clang them. They are the hardness of electrotype and make nice bullets.
