but the rains have actually kept the ground saturated and all the debris seem long gone, washed away. Our water source is no longer making near as big spikes in debris or organic loading after a rain event. The minerals are what cause me heartache, manganese in particular, but it's been mercifully lower.

The Arkansas River is swollen way past flood levels and we are due 4-5 ft. before crest! I don't think that effects me though. Toad Suck is floating. I think Jimmy Buffett was supposed to play there this weekend?

If we can dodge those pesky Tornadoes! It's not like a normal storm, they can pop up faster than anyone can report them to tell folks to get cover. I'm a pretty fair Jr. meteorologist when it comes to Tornado Alley and my skinny behind. I watch! Thanks for the caution.
