Gary, have you ever played with or had call for

"Straw" finishing small parts? With your polishing abilities and bluing expertise I figure you might have done it before. It's mostly European but sure looks nice done right, mixed with either blue or shiny. A SA or 1911, FN HP, small auto etc. I read that the parts are prepped then held at 430 deg. for 15 minutes. It's the very early stages of a heat blue. It's held up over 100 yrs. on some stuff I see.
