That high front sight. I put the lowest rear blade in the base gun before sending it to gary. Gary built the gun just as I asked.

It was a tad low in the target Gary posted and I got the same results at my bench this morning. A little low at 25 yards was a lot low at 75 yards. To me, this was very good news.

I relaced the rear blade with a taller .257" white outlined blade and the problem was solved. This is what I asked Gary to do and got exactly what I wanted. Id much rather install a taller blade than file off that trademark New Frontier Front Sight. Plus, revolvers look ugly with the rear sight cranked up. Also, I have a .300" rear blade for even more elevation if needed.
