It is a bit glitchy sometimes with some SWC cast bullets in some cases, as it also shoots .38 Specials. However all JHP seem to be very slick feeding. I believe the Marlin to be more amiable to bullet types and cartridge lengths.
With a 180 gr. loaded with some Lil'Gun the .357 becomes another animal all together. I have even shot some .38 Specials loaded with the RCBS 200 gr. FNGC. They really blow the dobber nests out of the rafters!
