Was thinking about my dad the other day with all the talk about the Marlin 357 Magnum Rifle.

40 years ago this August, I bought myself a Ruger Security Six for my 15th birthday. My Dad bought me a matching Marlin 1894 in 357 Magum and the Lee Loading Kit.

The pistol was $180 and the rifle was $190 if I remember right.

Started my leaning process on our chosen hobby and today I'm still learning.

In 1982 I bought a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt and my first reloading manual. Today that same gun is a Reeder 218 Mashburn Bee and my gun library is 400+ books. So, I'd say the hobby took...
