I was looking for a pardner gun to go with my 32-20 carbine.
I found an old Colt (1881?) double action in 32-20. Not rusted or pitted. Rifling is great for its age. The bluing is not so hot. The cylinder has way to much play both front to back and in rotation. It was manufactured 1887. Could anyone give me a WAG on its worth. I normally am a Single action person but sometimes....

a great curio. The .38 Colt that was issued to fight Morro Warriors all jacked up with machetes was basically the same gun. You can appreciate the situation perhaps better now. lol

If I remember right the bolt locking is at back of the cylinder. not very effective and they did go loose fast. I had one in .41 Colt that waa sort of shootable in SA mode. They tighten up when the trigger is pulled too.

Once loose it is more trouble and skill than worth it to remedy. Seriously.

Lots of cool Italian SAA clones in .32-20 too, for cheap.
