on Wednesdays and Saturdays. but this week we have so many guns to do the deluxe bluing on that we are hoping to get them polished and ready to blue by tomorrow evening. we still will have a large batch to do probably Sunday as well. but thanks to you guys for keeping me and my crew busy.

Your deluxe bluing and Black Chromex are the same, right?

It's hard to find folks to do such good work. Tried a local guy to do my Winchester and he ended up Durakoting the receiver because he couldn't get the bluing to take.

to give him a bit of credit, some Winchesters

won't blue. They were a crude cast, almost pot metel, steel. When you try to blue it it comes out purple and all shades of green, all at once. So if it was a mid 70s Winchester it wouldn't blue. Normally we just bead blast them to give the gun a 2 toned look. Not much else one can do.
