Purchase firearm loss/damage insurance?
I Purchase it through the company which the NRA endorses. May not be the cheapest but much much cheaper than going through a rider on my homeowners policy

Not let people tell you can't collect On your NRA gun insurance. $600 comes with every membership. I collected mine when my house burned down in 1991.

I have most individually insured thru armed forces insurance exchange, it also covers mere loss i.e. you drop in a river etc
