I have to disagree with that. I had one of the 180 series,

the first ones and there was no way to mount a scope at the time but it would shoot 1½" groups at 50 with the crude open sights. When the 181 series came out with scope options I went with it and it was as accurate as the older one, even more so with a scope. It was a truck gun for ground hogs.
