Reeder Custom Guns - AR Upper Suggestions

I was gifted a Joe Bob billet lower with trigger assembly. Want to build a coyote gun with it. Have looked at uppers on line and there's more out there than I can comprehend. Would like some advice from misfits who are really into AR's. Looking to use it for shots up to 500 yards.

.. unless you go with boutique stuff. Palmetto State Armory is my favorite after buying several guns. They have 3 tiers on uppers, mostly related to the barrel quality. I like the mid tier stainless barrel's. But I have stuff in all 3 qualities. Anything they list as a chrome lined CHF barrel are FN manufacturer (or it used to be) as they are local. Get on their email list for the best deals. I have seen uppers from 16" all the way to 24" on their daily deals. A 20" AR with a floated barrel should be a helluva 500 yard gun with a decent scope.

I have owned a few from Bear Creek Arsenal. Good shooters and good quality. Everything AR is cheap priced now including premium components.

For long range shooting go with 18" and up. I have a heavy barrel 20" that loves 55 grain BT's.

Likely a lot of the same barrels and parts as PSA. Couldn't say for sure. But I've heard nothing but good things about them too.
