Reeder Custom Guns - Shoot, accidentally bought a pistol this morning

THEN a friend called and needs money. (1) A GB penny auction I was watching, I won a LNIB Kahr P40 for $221. I don't know what I was thinking, just wanted to play. But a .40 that is the exact same size only lighter than a Colt 1903 .32 is not too bad for a knock around truck gun. (2) Buddy deal. He has a Redhawk .45 Colt/ACP, 5-hks speed loaders, 8 moon clips, dies, and 200-300 brass/reloads for $800.

Cripes Redhawks have gone up in the last few years! It sounds like a deal I don't need. No shipping, no paperwork, no tax... But to help a friend, that's never wrong. Is 4.2" the only barrel length?

45's. Mine are Smith's but the Redhawks are beefier so less felt recoil! And I believe they copied Gary's Gunfighter grip for the 45/45???

from several years ago. But that's OK. Ruger people are good people. Here are a couple of our custom Redhawks thru the years. First our original Alaskan from 1985.

Then in the mid 90s a bit longer barrel, the middle gun, our Night Hawk, is pretty much Ruger's current 4" Redhawk. [image]

Then our re-modeled Alaskan Survivalist in stainless and blue also in the late 80s and early 1990.

then in the early 2000s the Mastodon in blue and stainless came about. The first ones in 510 GNR then others in a 5 shot cylinder model.

need it. But I'd like to help a friend. Surely I can shuffle things around a bit. I'm having a fire sale myself, couple motorcycles, maybe three need to go. I need some room. I have a couple worthless 4 and 3-wheelers to get gone too. How do we get so much stuff we thought we wanted to find later we don't.
