in that chassis. I'm thinking .219 Zipper, .25-35, .30-30, .32-40, .38-55, etc. I know they did a .44 Mag. and .44-40 but they were a bit odd children. That is a loooooong barrel too, not a carbine. It takes a bit of working to get any of those under 1050 fps using crafted handloads so I figure it is for simple noise reduction, not a real attempt to suppress. The sling would indicate a real working rig too, to be carried some distances, not just out of the truck a few yards for a short stalk. All curious cues unanswered, unproven.
