Thank GOD , I was able to get to my

friends land near Hallettsville,Tx.
I got to the blind about 6:30pm yesterday.Took the TC Encore 455 GNR-10" barrel- shooting 300 gr XTP's. Puffy sent these to me a few years back and I had not tried them hunting yet,I did sight them in last weekend.The 455 GNR has been sitting in the safe for a while and I wanted to take it out.
A group of hogs (2 sows -8-10 little ones) came into the feeder about 8pm and started checking out the feeder, very nervous,the little ones were MAYBE 12" long and already able to eat corn.They finally settled down and started eating and this boar came in last-about 130 lbs, shot was about 60 yards-it hit the ground at the shot but got up and went about 20 yards into the brush. The hole you see is the exit side.
