rough day today. Just me and the Jack Russells. Did some

reloading and pulled some bullets from reloads I picked up in a couple of estate sales. I won't sell reloads. I had a bunch of Wild West Nickel 457 brass, Garrett 45-70 nickel brass, BB 45-70 Magnum brass and a lot more. Most new, unfired.I will bag it up for give away stuff at the HHC in a couple of months. I already have probably 500 lbs of give away stuff sorted out for the HHC. Usually I fill up 2 or 3 tables (8 footers) full of give away stuff and there should be easy enough to fill up 3 or 4 tables this year. Everybody gets something.

Colleen is taking one of the JRs up to Washington and stopping by the company that manufactures the parts for our custom 1911s and pick out another large batch of parts on Monday before heading back home. That is the good thing about having a wife that is into guns. When we go out to eat in the evenings our conversations are always either guns or dogs, or both. I always feel a bit sorry for the guys that come into the shop and their wife stands there with her arms crossed over her chest, and a shitty look on her face and hates every minute of it. A few days ago a fellow I know well picked up a 100 pack of CCI Mini Mag 22 LRs on the showcase. His wife jumped in with a nasty remark asking him if he still had any at home. He said about half a box. She grabbed the box and put it back on the counter and told him when he finished them he could buy some more. I had a real hard time keeping my big mouth shut. Guys that are scared of their wives puzzle me. I mean, what is she going to do if you just tell her to shut the hell up? She is not going to divorce you for standing up and being a man instead of a mouse. She may not talk to you for a week but that means some peace and quiet. One friend here in Flag buys a few guns, but when he does he has to ask his wife if it is OK. And usually he will bring in one of his guns to sell or put on consignment before he is allowed to buy another gun. That, my friends, is not living. That is existing. I just don't understand it. But it is none of my business if a man is scared shitless of his wife. I just don't have a lot of respect for him. Nuff said.
