Bears and big hogs abound around my cabin butted up against the national forest. The .41 magnum is not under powered with a 215 grain flat nose with a gas check. Same ammo I use in my Marlin 1894 FG. gonna try it out tomorrow.

I was shooting my .41 Magnum with 230 gr. cast plain base at about 1450 fps on targets out to 500 yards. The .41 is not underpowered in any sense.
So true Mr. Taylor, so true.

Saw one with jeweled hammer and trigger like that at Mountain Pawn and Gun in Mena AR. Good looking revolver.

Had my eye on it for months. The trigger is 2 lbs. action is tight and smooth. Measured the cylinder ga at a very tight . .003. Someone worked on it or Ruger did some custome work to it which I doubt.
