The Littrell family of New Mexico fame. Have you ever heard or know of them? A great uncle of mine ran the Philmont ranch for a long time and his family still may. I had a relative who I think was a brother to my great granddad was the sheriff of maxwell county around the turn of the century! My granddad was born in New Mexico around 1903 and ranched in the maxwell area until the late 40’s. My mother was born in Maxwell! My granddad bought a ranch near westcliffe Colorado in the late 40’s and ranched there for many years.
