The load manual shows on 1 load for bullets at 139/140 grains. I'm nearly out of that powder. I have plenty of IMR 4895. According to what I see, I need to start loading IMR 4895 1 or 2 grains less than H4895. Does that sound reasonable?

Also,.. two more things.
Anyone loading any other powders for 140gr loads. Just for the sake of have more info on hand. Also, the only other 7mm bullets I have on hand are 100 and 115 Varmint HPs. How'd ya'll think these would work for deer at pistols speeds? Not trying to stir up anything, its just that I have lots and lots of these and am looking to put them to use. I'm happy to relegate those to "range fun/fire form only" if needed.

I show 4 powders for 130-140gr powders , email me

Tip for Whitetail and Sika. Not even a hot load, just about 2400 fps and it stacked bullets, zero recoil with the brake, and it killed everything I pointed it at with one shot. Roman used the .30 GNR and 150 gr. to shoot a nice ram. I'll have to see what I loaded it up with, I think it was 4895.

I started Kase and Colleen off with the 7 GNR

when the 7 GNR came about they both jumped on it.

I would not use 110-115gr bullets for deer, maybe varmits

I have killed plenty of deer and hogs with the Nosler 130-150gr Accubonds or BT bullets at 2400+ fps.
IMR 4895 will work just fine , yes start 2.0gr lower and work up.

when we first developed the 7 GNR there wasn't a

large group of bullets that were suitable for it so we had to use what we could. Here is my original load data sheet for you. This showed data from '88 thru '94.

Between this and what Sean sent me, I think I'm set.

I'm tickled with the 7GNR. My daughter and I popped off the last of the 120s I had from last season. Hitting an old harrow disc at 150 was easy for us. I shot a doe end of last season over 150.
